Application and Tuition Fees

Applicants and students - at the time of application - who are not citizens of a EU/ EEA country or Switzerland must pay application fees for studies in the first or second cycle at Swedish higher education institutions. If you are accepted you also need to pay tuition fee.  

Application Fee

If you are a citizen in a EU/EEA-country or Switzerland you are not required to pay application or tuition fees. If you at the time of the application are not a citizen in an EU/EEA-land or Switzerland you must pay an application fee before DOCH can start the process of assessing your entry requirements. Tuition fee

If you are admitted to courses or programmes at DOCH and not are a citizen in an EU/EEA-country or Switzerland you are also required to pay tuition fee. The tuition fee is established per program and course. Please find below the tuition fees for programmes scheduled to start in the autumn term of 2012.

  • Bachelor Programme in Dance Performance, 180 credits. Tuition fee for the programme:  1 017 000 SEK (one million seventeen thousand Swedish Kronor). Fee per term: 169 500 SEK (one hundred and sixty nine thousand five hundred Swedish Kronor).
  • Master Programme in  Choreography, 120 credits. Tuition fee for the programme: 678 000 SEK (six hundred and seventy eight thousand Swedish kronor). Fee per term: 169 500 SEK (one hundred and sixty nine thousand five hundred Swedish kronor).
  • Bachelor Programme in Dance Pedagogy, 180 credits. Tuition fee for the programme:  1 017 000 SEK (one million seventeen thousand Swedish Kronor). Fee per term: 169 500 SEK (one hundred and sixty nine thousand five hundred Swedish Kronor).
  • Teacher Education Programme in Dance - in Upper Secondary Education, 300 credits. Tuition fee for the programme*: 1 348 000 SEK (one million three hundred and forty eight tousand Swedish kronor). Tuition fee for the programme without the subject in-depth studies in choreography*: 839 500 SEK (eight hundred and thirty nine thousand five hundred Swedish kronor).
  • Teacher Education Programme in Dance, Supplementary Study Programme, 90 credits. Tuition fee for the programme*: 175 500 SEK (one hundred and seventy five thousand five hundred Swedish kronor).

* The tuition fee indicated here is only applicable to the courses taken at DOCH. There will be additional tuition fees for the courses taken at the University of Stockholm (the University of Stockholm determines the tution fees for these courses and the tuition fee is to be paid in the manner indicated by the University of Stockholm).

Please note that DOCH is currently not able to offer a scholarship for third country students admitted to programmes starting in the autumn term of 2012.
