Applicant with Swedish, Nordic or other foreign grades
This information applies to applicants with a Bachelor´s degree and upper secondary school grades from Sweden, the Nordic countries or other countries when applying to a master´s programme.
General entry requirement (on a Master´s level)
In order to meet the general entry requirements to a Master´s programme, the following criteria must be met:
- have been awarded a Bachelor's degree (equivalent to a Swedish Kandidatexamen) from an internationally recognised university.
- be able to demonstrate proficiency in English by means of an internatationally recognised test, e. g. TOEFL, IELTS or the equivalent.

Specific entry requirements
Some programmes also have specific entry requirements, for example work life experience or a requirement in Swedish or English. Please read more in the right hand column about what applies to the programme you want to apply to.
English Language requirements
If the Master´s programme you apply for has English as a requirement you must also submit your grades from upper-secondary school (post-16) in order for us to see if you meet the entry requirement in English. If you do not meet the English Language requirement from your upper-secondary school, you may take an English Language Test.

Swedish Language Requirements
If the Master´s Programme is given in Swedish you must sumit documents to show that you meet this specific entry requirement. Please submit your grades from upper-secondary school (post-16). If you do not meet the specific entry requirement this way, there are other ways of showing your eligibility.

Countries where transcripts must be sent directly from the university
If your degree was awarded in Cameroon, Canada, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Ghana, Nigeria, or USA, an official transcript of record must be sent directly from your university in a sealed envelope, directly to DOCH (please see the adress on the application form.)
